Tzatziki & Falafel Wrap

I've lately been obsessed with Middle Eastern Food. After the falafel and green pea hummus hit on the blog, it was time that I posted another wrap recipe!

This one is a no hustle recipe. You guys already have my pita bread and falafel recipe. If you're new to the blog, I am linking both the recipes down below :

Now that you have nailed those two things, you just need to know how to make tzatziki.

All you have to do is combine all the ingredients together and it's done! I usually make extra tzatziki and use it as a dip for chips later or just eat it along with some leftover falafels or just tzatziki tastes great too. It is also very low in calorie and makes for a healthy dip/snack alternative!

Two things you need to keep in mind while making tzatziki :

  1. Make sure you hang your curd for at least 3-4 hours before using it. The thicker the curd, the better its consistency.

  2. Peel and deseed your cucumbers and then grate. The seeds in the cucumber will release water making the dip thin. Once grated, lightly squeeze the cucumbers between your palms and remove the excess moisture.

So, let's get started!

Ingredients :

Grated cucumber - 1 cup

Curd - 3/4 cup

Salad oil - 1 tbsp

Fresh chopped mint - 1 tbsp

Lemon juice - 1/2 tbsp

Minced Garlic - 1 clove

Salt- 1/4 tsp

Method :

  1. In a bowl, transfer your squeezed and dry cucumbers.

  2. Add curd, oil, mint, lemon juice, garlic and salt.

  3. Give it a good mix.

  4. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

  5. Serve immediately or chill for later.

Isn't it quick and easy to make ?

Make it right now, send me pictures and tell me if you liked it!
